There are a lot of bad album cover designs out there. Poor and tasteless art far outweighs original and thoughtful, so when I am struck by beautiful artwork it makes me stop for a minute just to take it in and appreciate it.

I had one such moment this morning while making the habitual email zero balancing (that’s funny because currently my gmail unread email count is at 3,207). Simplify Recordings may not be my favorite label, but I have noticed the artwork they produce to be on an upswing and that’s something I can really appreciate. These are the three that really got me.
