Recently we had to temporarily turn off the autotweet function to troubleshoot the blog (a problem that is still stumping us btw. If any of you wordpress/php detectives want to take a crack at it, we’ve got a real head-scratcher for ya). Well, not only did this bit-flip stop any outgoing tweets when a new post is made, it also deleted the entire tweet history. I know I shouldn’t care so much, but it makes the blog look uberlame when every post says “zero.” Big, fat zero.

Now Plasmodium blog is teh sads, so Twitter Updater, you get a big, fat F. For fail. All users of this common wordpress plugin, beware! It’s better to manually delete all test post tweets from your twitter feed than to lose your entire retweet history.

So suck.
