A two hour mix of house and tech-house from San Fransisco’s Alland Byallo

Alland is one of the busiest men in the San Francisco techno community. In addition to being a resident, graphic designer and A&R for KONTROL (arguably the most respected and notorious techno monthly in the US) he holds residencies for San Francisco’s infamous Forward underground parties and the monthly for his own record label, Nightlight Music, at the legendary 222 Hyde club. He is regularly booked as an opening act for influences such as Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Trentemøller, Michael Mayer, M.A.N.D.Y., Miss Kittin, and Modeselektor.

Byallo’s productions—a blend of old and new elements of techno, house and minimal—are regularly charted and have been licensed to CDs released by Universal, OM Records, Proton Music and Airdrop Music. The SF Bay Guardian is quoted as calling him “San Francisco’s very own tidal wave of techno,” with XLR8R Magazine echoing sentiment as “elegant dark lord of the dancefloor.” His music is at once dark and beautiful, grounded and lofty, making the most layered melodies and rounded rhythms.
